Lavanya Mahadevan

Through her active collection and manipulation of time, Lavanya Mahadevan is able to construct her own reality, somewhere between past, present, and future.

She works with time, investigating the way the present influences the past and vice-versa. Her work traverses a variety of techniques and materials, though it is consistently tied to ideas of nostalgia, particularly for a time never experienced first-hand.
